Bond Osteopathy Consultations
At Bond Osteopathy, our consultations include the following steps:
-
An online patient consent form (for first-time appointments) that must be filled out prior to your appointment
-
A comprehensive case history and assessment by your treating practitioner
-
If deemed necessary, appropriate and with informed consent, treatment will be performed
-
Prior to any assessment or treatment, patient consent will be obtained
-
If treatment is recommended, your practitioner will explain the assessment and any techniques/exercises proposed, along with any potential risks
-
If, after the case history and assessment, you are not a candidate for treatment, you may be referred to another healthcare professional. In this case, you will still be charged the full consultation fee.
-
Payment is due at the time of your consultation. You may be eligible for rebates from your private health insurance if you have the appropriate cover.
Bond Osteopathy Cancellation Policy
We have a strict 12-hour cancellation policy. By booking an appointment, you agree to provide us with at least 12 hours' notice of cancellation or rescheduling, or a cancellation fee up to 100% of the scheduled fee may be charged. We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise, and we will always strive for open communication with you before applying a cancellation fee. We ask you to respect our practitioners' time and other patients who may be waiting for an appointment. If you are charged a cancellation fee, you will not be eligible for treatment until the fee is paid.

All digital forms are sent to your medical file on our practice management system, Cliniko. These forms are confidential and used for clinical purposes only.
